The Arizona Cardinals could get back another pair of players from injured reserve this week. The team announced Wednesday that it designated tight end Darrell Daniels and defensive lineman Josh Mauro for return from IR.
The move allows them to practice again with the team and opens a three-week window in which they can be activated to the 53-man roster.
Both players were placed on injured reserve on November 28. Daniels suffered an ankle injury against the Buffalo Bills. Mauro injured his hamstring against the Seattle Seahawks.
In nine games this season, Daniels has six receptions for 83 yards and a touchdown. He has started six times.
In three games with the Cardinals before landing on IR, Mauro had five tackles and a sack.
