Good news, bad news for Michigan basketball: the good news is that ESPN’s BPI prediction for the Wolverines in one game down the stretch has officially flipped from a possible loss to a possible win. The bad news is that a different one shifted from a likely win to a probable loss.

With the first Big Ten game for the maize and blue having taken place, ESPN updated its BPI predictions for each game. Though most of the percentages in Michigan’s favor actually went down, a handful went up — with the most notable being an upcoming rivalry game. However, BPI now anticipates that the Wolverines will lose sooner than later, and the last four games of the schedule still remain particularly daunting.

The Wolverines will have to wait awhile until their next game — which comes on Christmas Day — so we took the time to gather the latest updates.

Here’s the updated version of the new predictions according to ESPN.
