The Lady Vols had its basketball game against Texas postponed Sunday.
Tennessee (3-1) and the Longhorns have played in every season for the last last 38 years.
The game was postponed due to COVID-19 contact tracing within the Texas program and in accordance with the Big 12 conference women’s basketball interruption guidelines.
A positive test was reported in the Texas program and Tennessee was notified approximately 90 minutes before game time.
The game was scheduled for 5 p.m. EST and was slated to be televised by ESPN.
No makeup date has been announced.
The Lady Vols are scheduled to host Jackson State at Thompson-Boling Arena Dec. 20 with tipoff slated for noon EST. The game will be broadcast on the SEC Network.
