Raiders vs. Jets game recap: Everything we know

The Jets were so, so close. But they lost. Again. They’re now 0-12.

The Jets had fans thinking — or fearing — that a win was possible Sunday, but Gang Green simply couldn’t hang on.

New York failed to shock the Raiders at MetLife Stadium for the second straight season, losing 31-28. Turnovers derailed Gang Green’s promising start to the day, as did the receiving efforts of Darren Waller. But it wasn’t until a Derek Carr bomb at the end of the game that this contest was decided in typical Jets fashion.

With the loss, the Jets are now 0-12 for the first time in franchise history as they continue to lead the race for the No. 1 pick, a.k.a. Trevor Lawrence.
