True freshman running back Bijan Robinson finally found the end zone for Texas.
It’s likely the first of many for the former five-star recruit and the nation’s top running back out of the 2020 recruiting class. Although Robinson has showcased his unique athleticism and potential in each game for Texas this season, he arguably hasn’t seen the field enough.
With junior running back Keaontay Ingram sidelined for the remainder of the season, Robinson will be splitting time in the backfield with sophomore Roschon Johnson.
However, it was Robinson who got the start at Kansas State.
On Texas’ opening drive in Manhattan, Ehlinger pitches the ball to Robinson on an option, where the true freshman scurried into the end zone at ease.

Robinson provides a spark for Texas each time he takes the field. His breakout performance appeared against West Virginia on Nov. 7, where he rushed for 113 yards on 12 carries while adding on two receptions for 38 yards.
Texas currently leads Kansas State 17-7 at the start of the second quarter.
