No. 2 Notre Dame will try to accomplish a few tasks on Saturday when they welcome 1-9 Syracuse to Notre Dame Stadium.
A win would mean they’d have gone three full seasons without losing in the friendly confines of Notre Dame Stadium. The last Irish lost in fact came in the second week of the 2017 season when they lost a thriller to Georgia.
A win would also be Notre Dame’s tenth of the season and would be their fourth consecutive season recording double-digit wins, which would be a first in program history.
