The Buffalo Bills got back in the win column with a 27-17 victory over the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 12 after their bye.
Buffalo (8-3) grabbed the lead on their first drive of the game, as quarterback Josh Allen found tight end Dawson Knox in the back of the end zone on a play-action pass. While the Chargers answered on the next drive with a Keenan Allen touchdown reception, the remainder of the first half was in the Bills’ hands.
Buffalo used some trickery, as wideout Cole Beasley took a toss from Allen and then passed to a wide open receiver in Gabriel Davis in the end zone. A Tyler Bass field goal gave the Bills a 17-6 going into halftime.
Allen added a rushing touchdown and topped it off with a ball spin. Los Angeles responded with a Joshua Kelley one-yard touchdown score. After that, the game was mostly a defensive struggle. Buffalo forced an interception and a turnover on downs. The Bills then stuffed the Chargers on the final play of the game, acting as a perfect culminating moment for Buffalo’s work on the afternoon.
