The Indianapolis Colts will be down one of their special teams players after linebacker Matthew Adams threw a punch and was ejected during the second quarter of the Week 12 game versus the Tennessee Titans.
The infraction occurred when the Colts were punting to the Titans with just over one minute remaining in the first half and with Indianapolis trailing 28-14.
Adams got tangled up with Titans inside linebacker and special teams ace, Nick Dzubnar, who ended up being on the receiving end of the Colts linebacker’s blows, which led to his ejection.
In fact, it looked like Adams got in a one-two punch. Here’s a look at the play in question that got him tossed.

Interestingly enough, Adams just tweeted this on Saturday night:
When I retire from the NFL, I’m picking up the boxing gloves. #heavyhitter

The penalty helped push the Titans into Colts territory after a Kalif Raymond return, and five plays later Tennessee was able to punch it in for six. With the score, the Titans are now blowing out the Colts, 35-14 at the half.
