Vikings fullback C.J. Ham activated off reserve/COVID-19 list

Welcome back, Minnesota Vikings fullback C.J. Ham.

The Vikings had to place C.J. Ham on the reserve/COVID-19 list this week, but on Saturday, the team announced something promising.

Ham was activated off the reserve/COVID-19 list today and as a result, he is available for the game vs. the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday.

Minnesota could sure use Ham for the game. The Vikings have ruled out right guard Ezra Cleveland, a pivotal player during the team’s three-game winning streak.

The Vikings utilize a run-heavy offense, and sometimes that means bringing Ham out to block for Dalvin Cook. Minnesota’s offensive success has often come as a result of Cook this season. If the Cowboys are able to slow Cook down, the team definitely has a chance to pull off an upset.

That’s where Ham comes in. Barring anything unexpected, he’ll be back. The Vikings sure need him.
