LSU running back commitment Corey Kiner’s legendary high school career came to an end last weekend when Ironton High defeated Kiner’s Roger Bacon High (Cincinnati) 22-19 in the state semifinals.
In the loss, the 5-foot-10, 205-pound Kiner did his best, rushing for 107 yards on 22 attempts, but it wasn’t quite enough, ending one of the most productive careers for a high school running back in the history of the state of Ohio.
Now, Kiner’s next game will be as an LSU Tiger.
Kiner’s final numbers have him in elite company in the football-rich state of Ohio.

The four-star back committed to the Tigers back in May and posted a heartfelt message to his high school, friends, teammates and coaches on his Twitter Monday afternoon.
I had the best four years ever. I made life long friends, learned life lessons and had the most fun while doing it. Thank you @RogerBaconFB for everything! I donโt usually get emotional about things but I have been crying tears of joy I love every coach and player on that team! pic.twitter.com/NU5WSoj9yK
