Are you doing your part to forget about what happened in Week 10 to the Buffalo Bills? Quarterback Josh Allen is.
Or that’s at least how we’re going to frame this.
The Bills (7-3), fresh off a heartbreaking loss to the Arizona Cardinals, 32-30, in Week 10, enter their bye week. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, players are pretty much just hanging out around Buffalo until Week 12 rolls around. No travel. No getaways.
Guys are naturally trying to heal up physically, but they’re all human as well. Taking the edge off and getting away from work for a few days is a nice mental break for us all.
Everyone does it differently. Some of the players probably like some family time, others… maybe some video games. Heck, why even cook? Maybe order out some Chipotle.
Looks like that’s what Bills quarterback Josh Allen did, and he inadvertently revealed he also… shaved away the pain… of his team’s recent loss to the Cards… Or something like that.
Slow and steady, Allen has grown a bread throughout the 2020 season to accompany him through his breakout campaign. But that’s a thing of the past, or at least the beard is.
Bills Wire’s Bradley Gelber surfaced a photo on social media via a Bills fan named Michael Porter, who claims to have spotted Allen while completing a deliver from the Mexican restaurant and… no beard. The photo was posted by Porter in a ‘Bills Mafia’ fan page on Facebook.
First before we go to that, here’s pre-shave Allen vs. the Cardinals:
Now what some folks might be disappointed to see, post-shave Allen:

RIP to Josh Allen’s first professional football career beard. Perhaps the next one can guide the Bills to a 6-0 record to finish the regular season?
