This will mark the ninth straight year and 14th time since 2005 that MSU-Oakland have played on the hardwood. Despite a few close calls, the Spartans are undefeated in 17 all-time match-ups against the Golden Grizzlies.
Yesterday, it was reported that Michigan State will host Western Michigan on Dec. 6. With the addition of Oakland, MSU now has only two open slots left on their non-conference slate.
Here’s what we currently know about the 2020-21 MSU basketball schedule based on reports and confirmed dates/opponents:
- Nov. 28 โ Notre Dame (home non-conference game)
- Dec. 1 โ at Duke (part of Champions Classic)
- Dec. 6 โ Western Michigan (home non-conference game)
- Dec. 9 โ at Virginia (part of ACC-Big Ten Challenge)
- Dec. 13 โ Oakland (home non-conference game)
A full schedule announcement from the Spartans should hopefully be coming in the next week.
