Canelo Alvarez reportedly is in negotiations to fight super middleweight titleholder Callum Smith on Dec. 18 or 19 in Texas.
That has to be exciting for Alvarez, whose career was still up in the air only a few weeks ago because of his legal battle with Golden Boy Promotions and DAZN.
The sides agreed to go separate ways, which freed up Alvarez to pursue what would be his first fight since he stopped Sergey Kovalev in November of last year.
Of course, the Mexican star has many options when it comes to potential opponents. Is the unbeaten Smith a good choice?
