Texas’ third consecutive win came against West Virginia on Saturday afternoon. Even with another victory, frustration and confusion were felt as the Longhorns left the field. Especially on the offensive side of the ball where only 17 points were scored.
Chris Ash’s squad looked better on the defensive side, especially in the run game. The Mountaineers only ran for 43 yards on 26 carries, tied for the lowest amount the Longhorns allowed all season (UTEP).
There were plenty of encouraging performances and there were plenty of discouraging performances. Despite sitting a 5-2 and in a great position to make the Big 12 championship. nobody is quite sure who this Texas team is.
Here are three studs and three duds from Texas’ 17-13 win over West Virginia.
