The New York Giants edged out the Washington Football to get their second win of the season on Sunday.
This game was a lot closer than it should have been for New York but they can be happy that they walked out of Washington healthy and with a win.
The 23-20 victory is the second divisional win of the season for Big Blue and puts them currently 1.5 games out of first place in the division.
Here’s how Twitter reacted:
Great team win today. D got turnovers and the O did not turn it over. That is the formula to wins.

Did the #Giants just do something good on defense in the fourth quarter????? 😭🙌🏾pic.twitter.com/ATHLSxzZwQ

The #Giants defense has been the BIGGEST surprise of this season. They've played really well; today they were able to turn the ball over at a high clip, but throughout the season, we've seen DC Patrick Graham & co. maximize their personnel.

Even the #Giants couldn’t blow a game where they were handed 5
turnovers. Though they tried.— JR in NoVa (@goatgiants) November 8, 2020
All jokes aside, some good improvements seen by the #Giants today. DJ held onto the ball. Defense was tight and put the pressure on the opposing QBs. Let’s hope the trajectory continues.
