Oklahoma rises to No. 19 in AP Poll Top 25

The Oklahoma Sooners have risen to No. 19 in the AP Poll after their dominant win over Texas Tech in Lubbock Saturday night.

Oklahoma hammered Texas Tech Saturday night in Lubbock by the wide margin of 62-28.

After climbing back into the AP Poll Top 25 last week at No. 24 following their win over TCU, this blowout victory has the Sooners jumping five more spots up to No. 19.

Sitting at the top of the rankings remains the Clemson Tigers after they narrowly escaped a home loss to Boston College – albeit without their star quarterback Trevor Lawrence.

Following Clemson in the top five is Alabama, Ohio State, Notre Dame, and Georgia.

Other Big 12 teams in the rankings include Oklahoma State at No. 14, Iowa State at No. 17, and Texas at No. 22.

Kansas State fell out of the top 25 after their loss to West Virginia on Saturday, and now are the seventh-highest team receiving votes of teams outside the rankings.

Next up for Oklahoma is a home date next Saturday afternoon with the Kansas Jayhawks.
