Alabama defeated Tennessee on Saturday and left with a win to remain the only undefeated team in the SEC. While that’s typically a caue for celebration, star wide receiver Jaylen Waddle injured his ankle and will miss the rest of the 2020 season, and has likely played his last game in a Crimson Tide uniform.

Last week, Waddle had top-ten odds to win the 2020 Heisman trophy. Unfortunately, due to his injury, the Alabama wide receiver has fallen far from the top, and is likely out of contention.
With Waddle’s drop comes a rise closer to the top for Crimson Tide running back, Najee Harris, who, last week, had the No. 8 best odds in the top ten.
Harris, now No. 4, sits right behind quarterback Mac Jones, who dropped one spot from No. 2 last week. Ohio State quarterback Justin Fields now sits behind first place Trevor Lawrence.
Alabama wide receiver DeVonta Smith has also entered the top ten.
Here’s how the top ten looks:
- Trevor Lawrence (-110)
- Justin Fields (+155)
- Mac Jones (+900)
- Najee Harris (+2500)
- Zach Wilson (+2500)
- Joe Milton (+2500)
- Travis Etienne (+5000)
- Kyle Trask (+5000)
- DeVonta Smith (+5000)
- Spencer Rattler (+10000)
