While there weren’t many upsets this week in the world of college football, but there was a huge upset inside the Big Ten as Indiana upset No. 8 Penn State in double overtime. That upset and a few more losses by teams ranked ahead of the Wolverines should help Michigan move up the rankings. Michigan also did its job by taking down No. 21 Minnesota 49-24, to help boost their chances of moving up the polls.
It will be interesting to see how Michigan being 1-0 compared to other teams that have played more games, but with it being a shortened season, the AP pollsters and soon the College Football Playoff committee will have to work with what they got. Check out the latest poll below.
