After having the last week off, it is time to start focusing on the Baylor Bears and Texas Longhorns matchup on Saturday. The Longhorns are coming off a second consecutive loss at the hands of the TCU Horned Frogs and Oklahoma Sooners. The Longhorns look to get back to their winning ways when they face Baylor.
The Bears had the last week off as well for completely different reasons. They were set to host the Oklahoma State Cowboys but the game was postponed due to COVID-19 cases on the team. They reported 28 cases among the players and another 14 within the staff.

Baylor cancelled their opener against the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs due to coronavirus cases on the opponents side. Then they scheduled the Houston Cougars team but again that game was cancelled due to an outbreak on the Baylor side. This is the third time the team had to half football activities.
Getting back to practice Sunday is the first step for Baylor football team. Bears must meet Big 12 minimums of 53 available players, including 7 offensive linemen, 4 interior defensive linemen and 1 QB following COVID-19 testing during the upcoming week.

Provided that Baylor does meet the minimum requirements they will travel to Austin. Currently BetMGM has Texas as double-digit favorites. The line currently sits at (-10). The over/under has been set at 64.5. So far this year Texas is 1-3 against the spread while Baylor is 1-1. The only spread that Texas has covered came against UTEP when the Longhorns were favored by 42 when the line opened.
