The Big Ten will finally return to the field next week, but that doesn’t mean there hasn’t been activity amongst a number of the conference’s teams in the weekly Amway Coaches Poll powered by USA TODAY Sports.
The poll movement continued for the Big Ten on Sunday when the latest poll was released, with four of the five ranked teams moving up in this week’s poll. Here is a breakdown of where the Big Ten teams stand in this week’s Top 25 rankings:
- No. 5 Ohio State (same as last week)
- No. 7 Penn State (up one spot from last week)
- No. 14 Wisconsin (up one spot from last week)
- No. 17 Michigan (up two spots from last week)
- No. 21 Minnesota (up four spots from last week)
Iowa (48), Indiana (5) and Nebraska (5) were the only other teams from the Big Ten to receive votes in this week’s poll. Michigan State still has yet to receive a vote in these weekly rankings.
With both the Wolverines and Gophers remaining in the rankings, next week’s primetime showdown between Michigan-Minnesota will mark the first ranked matchup of the Big Ten season.
