The New York Giants elevated wide receiver Austin Mack from the practice squad to the active roster ahead of their Week 4 matchup with the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday.
With Sterling Shepard still out due to turf toe and likely missing a few more games, the Giants are adding some depth in the big wide receiver out of Ohio State.

Mack went undrafted following the 2020 draft and signed with the Giants on their offseason roster. He spent the entire offseason and training camp with the team and was waived at roster cuts. He was promptly signed to the practice squad.
At 6-foot2, 208 pounds Mack is likely to spend most of the day on special teams if he sees any snaps. While the Giants will be down Shepard, they still have Darius Slayton and Golden Tate leading the room.
Mack caught 27 passes for 361 yards and three touchdowns during his final collegiate season at Ohio State.
