Former Texas wide receiver Devin Duvernay returned the first kickoff for a touchdown in the NFL this season.
It was the first of his young career. Duvernay was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens with the No. 93 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.
Although he’s used sparingly as a slot receiver, his biggest impact thus far for the Ravens has been as a kick returner.
On Monday Night Football against the Kansas City Chiefs, Duvernay’s speed was on full display. He returned a kickoff for a 93-yard touchdown in the second quarter.
