Cowboys News: Final preparations for Seahawks underway

The Cowboys have their toughest test of the year on Sunday in Seattle. Hear what Mike McCarthy had to say, and what’s the key for Dallas?

The Cowboys will roll into Seattle in less than 48 hours, as they face the Seahawks in one of the best matchups of the young season. Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy spoke in a radio spot about the two quarterbacks in the game, and had nothing but praise for both Dak Prescott and Russell Wilson. Speaking of Wilson, the Cowboys must pressure the star Seattle quarterback if they want to have any hopes of slowing the MVP candidate.

Injuries in the secondary won’t help the Cowboys cause, as cornerback Chidobe Awuzie was ruled out this week, joining Anthony Brown who was placed on the IR a week ago. Seattle’s secondary is also under pressure, as they face the explosive Dallas offense that features standout rookie CeeDee Lamb. The Dallas native, Jamal Adams, has talked the talked, but we’ll see if he walks the walk against his once potential trade suitor.
