With an emphasis on getting off to a fast start, the Bears offense did just that in the first half Sunday’s game against the Giants.
The Bears scored a touchdown on their opening possession — a Mitchell Trubisky to David Montgomery 28-yard touchdown — and they ended the half with another scoring drive.
With 0:14 left in the first half, Trubisky found rookie receiver Darnell Mooney for a 15-yard touchdown in the corner of the end zone to give the Bears a 17-0 lead at halftime.
