A lightweight bout between [autotag]Drew Dober[/autotag] and [autotag]Diego Ferreira[/autotag] is set for November.
MMA Junkie verified with multiple people close to the situation that Dober (23-9 MMA, 10-4 UFC) and Ferreira (17-2 MMA, 8-2 UFC) are set to meet on the promotion’s Nov. 7 card, which is expected to takes place at UFC Apex in Las Vegas.
The people requested anonymity because the UFC has yet to make an official announcement. ESPN was first to report the news.
Dober, 31, has won six of his past seven fights, including three consecutive knockout wins. He most recently competed at UFC on ESPN+ 29 in May, scoring a second-round finish of Alexander Hernandez.
Ferreira, 35, meanwhile, is coming off the biggest win of his career. The Brazilian submitted former UFC champ Anthony Pettis at UFC 236 in January, extending his current winning streak to six consecutive fights.
