Colts’ Marlon Mack (ankle) questionable to return vs. Jaguars

Marlon Mack has an ankle injury.

Indianapolis Colts running back Marlon Mack suffered an ankle injury and is questionable to return against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 1 at TIAA Bank Field.

Leaking out as a safety valve, Mack caught a pass from Philip Rivers in the second quarter and immediately fell to the ground clutching his ankle. He limped off the field with help from the training staff. It was a non-contact injury.

Up to this point, Mack had taken four carries for 26 yards while catching all three of his targets for 30 yards.

In his place, second-round pick Jonathan Taylor and receiving back Nyheim Hines will be working in the backfield. Jordan Wilkins is also active.
