Former Alabama running back Josh Jacobs has made quite an impact on the Raiders since being the first running back draft din the 2019 NFL draft. First with Oakland, and now staying with the team as they transitioned to Las Vegas, Jacobs continues to be a star.
This time, Jacobs makes history as the first player to score a touchdown in Las Vegas Raiders history.
Jacobs is now joined by former Alabama wide receiver Henry Ruggs III, who was the first wide receiver selected in the 2020 NFL draft.
The touchdown Jacobs scored was historic, but only a 1-yard rush. The play was set up with a little help from Ruggs on a massive catch-and-run.
Jacobs looks to have a stronger second season in the NFL after an already impressive rookie year, one that many believed was worthy of Offensive Rookie of the Year recognition. This first touchdown is likely the first of many for Jacobs.
