WATCH: Travis Kelce scores first Chiefs touchdown of 2020 season

Kelce gets the touchdown of the season for the Chiefs.

The Kansas City Chiefs have scored their first touchdown of the 2020 NFL season.

Everyone thought that they had a touchdown in the first quarter. Instead, we got to play everyone’s favorite game within the NFL called, “Is it a catch?” The pass was ultimately called back and considered a dropped pass by veteran WR Demarcus Robinson.

The team had to wait until the second quarter to get their first touchdown of the season. They were down seven and had their backs against the wall. So who stepped up and got open for the score? It was none other than Chiefs TE Travis Kelce.

The Chiefs had a third-and-goal scenario with over five yards to go to the endzone. Robinson actually helped Kelce score the touchdown, clearing out the area and creating space for Kelce to catch the ball cleanly. I mean what’s better than throwing the ball up to your star tight end in the endzone? A textbook way to start the season and tie up the game if you’re Kansas City.
