Alabama lands commitment from 3 star 2021 TE

Nick Sabana and the Crimson tide land their commit No. 21 for the class of 2021. This time, in the form of a tight end from South Carolina.

Alabama’s 2021 recruiting class took shape quickly after a slow start to the cycle. Nick Saban has managed to bring the Crimson tide all the way up to the top recruiting class in the nation, according to 247Sports.

The latest commit comes in the form of a 6-foot-4 tight end from Rock Hill, South Carolina named Robbie Ouzts.

He joins 20 other commits for Alabama’s 2021 class and is the only tight end.

Though he chose Alabama, he had 26 total offers, including seven total offers from SEC programs.

Alabama beat out Georgia, Tennessee, South Carolina, Ole Miss, Kentucky and Arkansas for Ouzts’ commitment.

The Crimson Tide currently have eight true tight ends on their roster for the 2020 season, but will lose two due to a lack of available eligibility in 2021.

The commitment was made official through Ouzts’ Twitter, where he posted a graphic and a message.
