3 goals for Philadelphia 76ers in the 2020 offseason to bounce back

There are three goals for the Philadelphia 76ers to achieve in the 2020 offseason.

The Philadelphia 76ers made a couple of big gambles in the 2019 offseason in hopes of continuing the momentum created when they were just one bad bounce away from going to overtime in Game 7 of the semifinals.

They handed a couple of big contracts in free agency to then 33-year old Al Horford and borderline All-Star Tobias Harris. In the process, they lost sharpshooter JJ Redick as well as big-time closer Jimmy Butler. The hope was they would be able to build off the momentum of the previous season and use the new additions to make a trip to the NBA Finals.

The result was a 6 seed finish to the regular season and then being swept in Round 1 of the playoffs. The season was a complete failure in terms of on-court results and now, general manager Elton Brand will have to correct the mistakes made in order to get the team back on track.

For that to happen, there are three goals that he should take a look at in order to achieve the success the team needs. With that being said let’s break it down!
