It’s award season in the NBA and while the awards have not been given out like that they have in the past with the awards show thanks to the pandemic, it is still a celebration of the players who had great seasons in 2019-20.
The award that got some attention was the 6th Man of the Year award that went to Los Angeles Clippers big man Montrezl Harrell. Coming off the bench for 61 of the 63 games he played in, Harrell averaged 18.6 points and 7.1 rebounds. Most thought the award should have gone to Oklahoma City Thunder guard Dennis Schroder, but that is up for debate.
Philadelphia 76ers legend Allen Iverson seemed to be perfectly fine with the decision as he gave a shoutout to Harrell on Twitter calling him his “little bro”.
Congrats lil bro. Well deserved!!!! @MONSTATREZZ pic.twitter.com/O57LZTc605

From a basketball perspective, Iverson has always been involved with the league and he has always supported the talent coming up in the NBA. He has shown up to plenty of Sixers gams in support of the younger guys in the past and this shoutout for Harrell is another example of the NBA fraternity. [lawrence-related id=37446,37437,37425]
