The video documentary series launched by Matisse Thybulle may have come to an end following the Philadelphia 76ers’ exit from the playoffs but that doesn’t mean the rookie is done creating content.
Of course, Thybulle became a star off of the court with his behind-the-scenes YouTube vlog as it was a universal hit among viewers. Thybulle shot, edited and published nine videos from inside of the bubble as each garnered hundreds of thousands of views.
Thybulle published his final episode this week and took a look back on his rookie season. From the night of the NBA Draft, to his experience at the Walt Disney World Resort, Thybulle offered one last look from his first season in the NBA.
Fans were upset once the 76ers were eliminated from the postseason, in part because it meant the vlog would be ending. However, Thybulle said in the last episode that he won’t be quitting the vlog business and offered what is next for him.
Even though the bubble series is over and the bubble videos are done, I still want to keep making videos. I have some stuff I’m working on right now that I’m really excited to show you guys but before I post anything more after this, I need your help trying to come up with an idea of what to name this next phase of videos or chapter or series, whatever you want to call it. Leave in the comments what you think I should name it and I’ll see you guys in the next video.
Thybulle earned widespread praise for his vlog and even appeared on “Good Morning America” and “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon” from the bubble to discuss his project. Based on his success from the bubble series, Thybulle will surely find success in his next series.
