The Philadelphia 76ers are a team that plays in a blue-collar city where hard work and effort is appreciated. They are also an organization that has a lot of success due to the efforts of legends such as Julius Erving, Moses Malone, Allen Iverson, and yes, Charles Barkley.
The aforementioned Barkley is one of the best players in Sixers history and he is also not one to really keep quiet when it comes to the Sixers. After they were blown out by the Boston Celtics in Game 2, Barkley did not hold back with his comments on “Inside the NBA” in TNT.
He called out the Sixers for not competing and added that their effort was a disgrace to the organization.
Charles Barkley on Inside just now: “That was ridiculous tonight. They did not compete…you can lose a game, but what those guys did tonight was disgraceful for the 76ers organization.”

Philadelphia did have effort issues in the second half on Wednesday and that is something that needs to be fixed ahead of Friday’s Game 3. For a team already missing Ben Simmons and having issues helping Joel Embiid, coach Brett Brown needs to rally his troops to avoid the dreaded 0-3 hole. [lawrence-related id=36999,36994,36991]
