Few NFL teams have a more challenging road ahead in 2020 than the Panthers. In addition to having the most-turned-over roster in the league, they face a daunting regular season schedule featuring some of the game’s best quarterbacks.
According to the Athletic, Carolina has the fourth-toughest schedule in the league based on their opponents’ quarterbacks by tier.
“The Panthers play by far the toughest in-division schedule of opposing quarterbacks as Brady, Ryan and Drew Brees combine for a 1.66 average. Carolina will try to conquer that lineup with Teddy Bridgewater. Contrast that with the Chiefs, who will line up with Mahomes while facing in-division opponents who combine for a league-worst 3.55 average.”
To make things even better, the Panthers will be fielding the youngest defense to play in the NFL in the last decade.
On the bright side, if Joe Brady’s new offense gets up to speed quick, we can expect a lot of fantasy-friendly games this year.
