Darius Bazley scored a career-high 23 points and seven rebounds on Sunday to lead the Oklahoma City Thunder to a 121-103 victory over the Washington Wizards.
Bazley shot 8-of-13 from the field, including 5-of-8 from 3-point range, in 26 minutes of work off of the bench. He scored 11 of his 23 total points during the second quarter alone as he shattered his previous career-high of 16 points in the win.
Bazley has had a strong run with the Thunder during the restart thus far. He scored 10 points in the restart opener and even had 20 during a scrimmage game on July 28 against the Portland Trail Blazers.

Oklahoma City played a Washington team that was eliminated from playoff contention on Friday after losing to the New Orleans Pelicans. The Wizards are now using their remaining games as a development opportunity and never seriously posed a threat to the Thunder.
The Thunder played without Steven Adams, Dennis Schroder and Nerlens Noel, which helped create the opportunity for Bazley. He previously dealt with a knee injury but is fully healthy now and poised for a large role with the Thunder during the postseason.
The Thunder play next on Monday vs. the Phoenix Suns.
