The Bills made the signing of offensive lineman Brian Winters official on Thursday.
According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the Bills have a relatively value pickup in Winters. The one-year contract is worth a total of $3 million, with more than half of that guaranteed:
The #Bills officially signed veteran G Brian Winters, who gets a 1-year deal worth $3M with $2M guaranteed. Not bad for this economic environment.

With Winters in the fold, he officially joins the race for the team’s vacant spot at right guard. Incumbent starter Jon Feliciano suffered a chest injury recently which will cause him to miss an extended period of time.
Prior to joining the Bills, Winters was the longest-tenured member of the Jets. He played there for seven seasons.
