Jarrett Allen had a solid showing in Brooklyn’s first Disney bubble scrimmage, finishing with 10 points and 10 rebounds in the rough 99-68 loss to the New Orleans Pelicans.
Brooklyn’s lone true big man participating in the NBA’s resumption of the 2019-20 season responded with a similar showing in the Nets’ second Disney bubble scrimmage. He logged yet another double-double, finishing with 10 points and 11 rebounds in the Nets’ 124-119 win over the San Antonio Spurs.
As part of his second solid showing in the Disney bubble, Allen did something Nets fans have seen him more than once: throw down hard.
The ‘Fro had two monstrous slams in the win, the first of which came off a missed jumper by Chris Chiozza in the second quarter.
Allen made sure Brooklyn scored two points on the possession:

Shortly after, Chiozza found the big man hanging around in the paint. The point guard hit him with a pass, earning one of his seven assists on the day:
