Josh Gordon’s Super Bowl ring is headed for auction

Former New England Patriots WR Josh Gordon’s Super Bowl ring headed for auction.

Former New England Patriots receiver Josh Gordon’s Super Bowl LIII ring will go up for auction. Heritage Auctions believes the ring will sell for somewhere in the area of $100,000, according to TMZ. Gordon is not selling the ring, according to TMZ. A dealer put the item up for sale.

Gordon earned the ring during the 2018 season when the Patriots won the Super Bowl. He didn’t play in the game, however, because he was suspended indefinitely for violating the NFL’s substance abuse policy. He returned to the Patriots after that suspension, but his stint in New England ended in 2019 when the team released him.

Gordon spent time with the Seattle Seahawks in 2019, but he was put back on his indefinite suspension after violating the terms of his reinstatement to the league. He has again applied for reinstatement this offseason.
