Wisconsin football was scheduled to take on Northwestern at historic Wrigley Field, the home field of the Chicago Cubs, but unfortunately the game is being moved.
According to a press release from Northwestern and the Chicago Cubs, the game will no longer be taking place at Wrigley. “The decision was made after close consultation with the Cubs, state and local authorities and the Big Ten Conference, and in consideration of the myriad challenges presented by the coronavirus pandemic,” said the release.
According to AllBadgers.com’s Jake Kocorowski, a Northwestern official said that if the game is played on the expected date of November 7, the game will be played at Ryan Field in Evanston.

Although there has been speculation about Wisconsin’s other neutral site game on the schedule, the October 3 battle against Notre Dame at Lambeau Field, being moved, currently the Badgers are still planning on facing the Irish at the home of the Packers.
