It’s widely apparent that Aaron Donald is one of the hardest-working players in the NFL. After Super Bowl LIII, he only took a few days off before he was back in the gym working out and preparing for the 2019 season.
During a conference call with reporters recently, he made his Zoom background a shirtless photo of himself flexing, just to remind everyone that he’s still working and not taking time off during this time of isolation.
His training videos are often circulated on social media, but now fans can go straight to the source to see what Donald is up to. The five-time All-Pro started his own YouTube channel, and his latest video is a behind-the-scenes look at his first workout back in Los Angeles at the Sports Academy.
Donald says in the video that he hasn’t taken a full week off yet, and that he’s “all year round” with his workouts. That should come as no surprise, just given his track record and work ethic.
Nothing about his workout looks easy, and it’s clear as day that he didn’t become the physical specimen that he is by sitting on his couch watching Netflix.
He’s ready for football to return so he can get back on the field and start sacking quarterbacks again.
