The debate will go on for years as to whether or not the New York Giants made the right move by selecting Saquon Barkley over Sam Darnold second overall in the 2018 NFL Draft.
The back-to-back picks of the two New York crosstown rivals will forever be linked to each other.
It was never in doubt that Barkley was going to be great — it was more a question of passing on a future franchise quarterback in favor of a running back.
Recently, the two were spotted working out together at UCLA.

It should be no surprise to see Barkley making the most of a weird offseason. Although the coronavirus pandemic has slowed the offseason progress down quite a bit, Barkley has been making the most of the current state of the offseason in preparing for the upcoming season.
Barkley will likely be a corner stone piece to build around for the Giants for years to come and only time will tell if the team made the right pick taking him over Darnold.
