In the world of social media, you don’t have to wait long to get an idea of what the fans or basically anyone that has internet access thinks about something.
Twitter isn’t an overwhelmingly positive place as it is, but the Atlanta Falcons got to see first-hand how brutal it can be when they dropped their new uniforms in April.

The franchise had hyped up its jersey release, claiming the new uniforms embodied the unique culture of Atlanta. However, after they were leaked on social media, the Falcons decided to move up the release. The designs got mixed reviews, with some fans loving them and others finding them comically bad.
In USA TODAY’s 2020 NFL uniform power rankings, the Falcons were all the way down the list at No. 24:
24. Atlanta Falcons (25): Thumbs up – matte black helmet and embrace of “ATL” on the new, largely toned-down uniforms. Thumbs down – silver facemasks, black/red gradient alternate jersey and failure to bring back the old falcon logo. C’mon, let’s go all the way and totally phase out all memories of Super Bowl LI, boys.
Whatever your thoughts are on Atlanta’s new jerseys, we still have to see them under the stadium lights before we can make a complete judgement.
