Former Alabama running back Derrick Henry is now known for leading the Tennessee Titans offense and making the team a Super bowl contender in 2019.
His time at Alabama was full of impressive accolades which ultimately resulted in Henry being a second-round pick in the 2016 NFL draft.
In his three seasons with the Crimson Tide, Henry was named the 2015 SEC Offensive Player of the Year and named to the 2015 first-team All-SEC. He was also the recipient of four awards in 2015, the Doak Walker award, the Walter Camp award, the Maxwell award and he named the Heisman Trophy recipient. Finally, Henry was a part of Alabama’s CFP National Championship win in 2015.
He is using his hardware as a way to help his alma mater land recruits.
The SEC Network tweeted about a few of Henry’s accolades with the Crimson Tide, and he turned it into a way to show recruits that Alabama is the program to play for.
