Ed Oliver partaking in Bills offseason program following arrest

Buffalo Bills DT Ed Oliver is taking part in his team’s offseason program on Monday following DWI arrest.

Buffalo Bills defensive tackle Ed Oliver is still taking part in his team’s virtual offseason workout on Monday, despite his off-field issues this past weekend.

According to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, Oliver is indeed with his team as the offseason rolls on. This past Saturday, the No. 9 overall pick at the 2019 NFL Draft was arrested in Houston on DWI charges and unlawfully carrying a weapon. Oliver also had an open beer in the vehicle.

The Bills released the following statement: “We are aware of the situation and we are gathering more information. We will have no further comment at this point.”

The report adds that the Bills will “let the legal process play out” in regard to the arrest. As of the report, no word on whether or not Oliver will be suspended by the league for his actions has come to light.
