Q: When you reflect back on your time with MJ, what are maybe the one or two favorite memories that come to mind? Chris Mullin: Like most people, I’m in awe of his incredible athletic gifts, his drive and his incredible accomplishments. But I gotta say that, through the years dating back to 1981, when I would bump into him during the offseason or wherever away from the game, it really didn’t change a whole lot. He was always a really kind, warm guy. He always liked to reminisce, laugh and have a good time. It was cool watching him ascend to greatness, but it’s also nice to maintain a normal relationship over the years. I’m happy for him.
