Ohio State basketball incoming freshmen Zed Key and Eugene Brown get their jersey numbers

Ohio State basketball announced incoming freshman Zed Key and Eugene Brown’s jersey numbers Tuesday.

Yesterday, the fine folks at Ohio State announced the jersey numbers of the three transfers that will be new to the program. Seth Towns, Abel Porter, and Jimmy Sotos now all know what they’ll be wearing at Ohio State as they transition to a new program.

The Buckeye program then doubled down today and announced the jersey numbers of incoming freshman Zed Key and Eugene Brown. They will be wearing numbers 23, and 3 respectively. The circle of basketball life is now seemingly complete on the banks of the Olentangy.

Key, a 6-foot, 7-inch center out of New York is rated as the No. 138 overall player in the 2020 class, and No. 22 center according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings. At 6-foot, 6-inches, Brown is the No. 20 rated shooting guard, and 118th overall recruit in the class.

Both will be looking to make an impression this winter when they join an Ohio State team with a ton of turnover in the roster. At least they know what they’ll be wearing to do it.
