Golden State Warriors rookie Eric Paschall offered his reaction on Twitter to the time his head coach once fought Michael Jordan in practice when they were teammates on the Chicago Bulls.
On Sunday, “The Last Dance” documentary returned with Episodes 7 and 8 of the 10-part miniseries. Viewers were given a behind-the-scenes look at how hard Jordan was on his teammates at times throughout his storied career on the Bulls.
When Jordan returned from playing baseball, that desire to be back on top only grew. An early exit in the playoffs at the hands of the Orlando Magic during the 1994-95 season further ignited him, which resulted in Jordan coming to blows with Steve Kerr in a scrimmage the following year.
Paschall, like dozens of other NBA players, was at home watching the scene unfold and quickly took to social media to reveal his thoughts of how his coach fought Jordan.

Kerr later said that he felt as though punching Jordan first in practice oddly became one of the best things to happen to him. Following the altercation, Jordan began to respect Kerr even more as a teammate and that resulted in the Bulls winning three consecutive championships.
The final two episodes of “The Last Dance” will air beginning on May 17 at 9 p.m. ET on ESPN.
