The Atlanta Falcons have added another pass-rusher to the mix, sending a seventh-round pick to the Miami Dolphins for defensive end Charles Harris.
We have traded a 2021 7th round draft pick to the Dolphins for DE Charles Harris.
Welcome to Atlanta, @Charles_AO1!

Harris was a first-round pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, and has a 2021 option that the Falcons will have to decide if they want to pick up. In three seasons, Harris has 61 tackles (34 solo), 3.5 sacks and two passes defended.
Atlanta is creating an interesting situation by adding another EDGE with something to prove in what could essentially be a contract year. The team declined Takk McKinley’s fifth-year option earlier this week, so it’s hard to imagine Harris’ will get picked up.
At worst, Harris and McKinley will be motivated and bring competition to what should be an improved Falcons defensive front in 2020.
