Former five-star Michigan wide receiver Donovan Peoples-Jones didn’t have the usual weekend.
He left the Wolverines a year early, anticipating he’d likely be selected on either Thursday or Friday of the 2020 NFL Draft, but things didn’t quite go according to plan. Peoples-Jones ended up being a late third-day draft pick, being chosen by the Cleveland Browns in the sixth-round.
But, regardless of when he was picked, he has a chance to fulfill his lifelong dream of playing in the NFL, which is more important than when he was selected.
Video Vision 360’s Ryan Clark Doyle was embedded in the Peoples home, along with his family, his agent and former Michigan DT Mike Martin, who is now his financial advisor. He captured what it was like to be in Peoples-Jones’ position, chronicling his Saturday as he awaited the call that he was destined for the NFL.
It’s an absolute must-watch, not only for Michigan football fans, but football fans in general.
