In the bottom of the fourth round, the Las Vegas Raiders selected cornerback Amik Robertson from Louisiana Tech with the No. 139 pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. Robertson is the second cornerback the Raiders have drafted as they selected Damon Arnette at pick No. 19 in the first round.
Robertson was one of the most productive defensive backs in college football over the last few years, totaling 14 interceptions since 2017. Robertson was named a first-team All-American in 2019 after leading the conference in pass deflections with 21.
While he’s not an elite athlete, but he’s one of the most aggressive cornerbacks in the entire draft. He projects as a slot cornerback in the NFL and could challenge Lamarcus Joyner for snaps as a rookie. Don’t be surprised if he winds up being one of the best Day 3 picks in the entire draft after dominating in college.
Here is what the Raiders have done so far in this year’s draft. They are not scheduled to pick again in the 2020 NFL Draft.
